How does SSLNudge check my certificates?
It opens a TLS connection to each host and reads the certificate the server presents — the same handshake a browser does. We parse the expiry date, issuer, SANs and validate the chain.
Do I need to install anything?
No. SSLNudge checks public endpoints directly over the internet. There’s nothing to install on your servers.
When will I be alerted?
By default at 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before expiry, and immediately when a check newly fails. Lead times are configurable.
